The community of Carterville rests within the greater southern Illinois region, reaching everyone we can with the amazing message of God's love and forgiveness. We would love for you to be our guest on a Sunday morning for one of our services. Rest assured we will not ask you to do anything when you get here except to enjoy your experience at Destiny Center Church.
OH...and before you leave, we will have a special gift for every first time guest.

Destiny Center currently meets each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in our new location at 409 Commerce Drive, Carterville, IL.
Our music is a high-energy, full-of-life experience. There is a live band that is playing music that is relevant to today& culture. We strive to provide an environment where you can worship in whatever way you are comfortable with. Whether it is singing, clapping, closing your eyes or raising your hands, we believe that there are many different ways to worship God.
A printed outline for notes and a large-screen slide presentation help you make the most of the practical and relevant message. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled Destiny Kids service.
Our services last approximately 75 minutes. We highly value your time so we are committed to starting and ending on time.
You should give yourself plenty of time to get the kids to the nursery or Destiny Kids, get some freshly brewed coffee, a donut and find a good seat. For this reason, we recommend that you arrive on campus no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the service.
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Destiny is not about what you look like or what you wear.
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our NEXT STEPS Membership Class. Classes are scheduled every other month. Connect groups are another great way to meet others. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith. Opportunities to serve are also available, particularly on Sunday.
