When a new believer receives the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, the Bible is clear about the next logical step—baptism. 


Baptism is not required for salvation, but it is a powerful, public confession of faith and a step of obedience to the Word of God.


At Destiny Center Church, we believe Scripture teaches that baptism means to be fully immersed in water. This immersion symbolizes the believer’s old life being buried with Christ and a new life being raised in Him (Romans 6:4). It is an outward expression of an inward transformation.


Baptism is a moment of declaration:

  • I belong to Jesus.

  • My old life is gone.

  • I am walking in new life.
